Mysore, June 28th,
Patriotic songs will be broadcasted to room speakers at 5:30 a.m, which is the alarm. You will be asked to report at 6:45 a.m or so to 2 officers after which you should go to places where you will be allotted tasks.
My interview was at 10:30 a.m so I took a nap after breakfast. The interview was only regarding the PIQ form (Personal Information Questionnaire form) and 2-3 Air Force/General Knowledge related questions. I spoke more about going to places and meeting people and Technology (Web, Microsoft, Google and Facebook), for which he asked "You seem so good at all those software stuff, why are you here?" I replied "I'm just giving it a try, sir". On asking about the IAF, I said that I don't fake interviews by temporary preparations and that I don't know much about the Indian Air Force.
I'd say you can say what you feel, if you want to get in seriously you must talk as if you are living to get into the IAF. Also I heard if you are selected you must be with the IAF for a minimum of 10 years. Which is impossible for me, because the Air Force is not what I like or want, so I decided my own fate during the day of my interview. I knew this very day that I will not get in.
But if you have that passion and you also know the details and GK you will definitely do well.
